What led you into this field?
I always loved the idea of building things. I originally wanted to design tall buildings but a fear of heights put the brakes on that. Designing neighbourhoods where people live and grow up and designing infrastructure that supports our economy is rewarding.

What is your professional education, background and expertise?
I have a B.Sc. Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, 1990. I am a professional member of APEGA and APEGBC. Since graduating, I have worked in a number of disciplines within Civil Engineering including Water Resources, Industrial Design, Land Development, Municipal Engineering and Rail Design. I have also been involved in modelling large storm and sanitary sewer systems. I have worked in Edmonton, Grande Prairie, and Fort St. John and throughout the Peace Region.
