We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Administrator to join our team. The HSE Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing our COR (Certificate of Recognition) program, as well as ensuring compliance with ISN, Complyworks, and Avetta standards for multiple clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s COR program, including conducting internal audits, coordinating external audits, and ensuring compliance with COR requirements.
• Manage the ISN Compliance process, including maintaining accurate records, responding to client requests, and addressing any non-compliance issues.
• Oversee Complyworks and Avetta compliance, including managing contractor prequalification, monitoring compliance status, and resolving any compliance-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address HSE risks, develop action plans, and implement effective controls and procedures.
• Provide leadership and support to HSE coordinators and other team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Keep abreast of relevant HSE regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Prepare and present HSE reports, metrics, and performance indicators to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
• On-boarding of employees and contractors to ensure compliance with orientations and tickets.

Requirements:

• Experience developing and implementing HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with computers and with MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word. Microsoft Project is also an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development

Our ideal candidate would also possess;

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of [2] years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management, preferably in [industry/sector].
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), or equivalent designation.
• Strong knowledge of COR program requirements, ISN, Complyworks, and Avetta compliance standards.
